Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what’s needed to run REDONE, we don’t sell your data, and there are no third-party ad trackers in the app. Here’s the full picture.

Who we are
REDONE (“we”, “us”) is the app for documenting home renovations — before & after photos, real budgets, and every step in between. This policy covers the REDONE iOS app and this website. Questions? Email hello@redoneapp.co.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign up — with Apple, Google, or email — we store your email address, your name if you share it, and your profile info. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes; sign-in with Apple or Google never gives us your password at all.
- The content you create.Your projects, photos, videos, budgets and costs, plan details, and the messages you send to other users. Publishing a project makes its content visible to other people in the app — that’s the point of REDONE — but your messages stay private between you and the person you’re talking to.
- Usage events.We count when projects are viewed or tapped. We use these counts to show makers how their projects (and boosts) perform. This is first-party analytics stored on our own infrastructure — we don’t use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- Payment details — handled by Apple.If you buy a boost in the iOS app, the payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Your card details go to Apple, never to our servers; we keep only a record of the purchase so we can activate your boost and show you its results.
Camera, photos and microphone
REDONE asks for access to your camera, photo library, and microphone for one reason: so you can capture and add photos and videos to your projects. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to add it, and you can change these permissions any time in iOS Settings.
How we use your data
- To run the app — show projects, deliver messages, sync your content.
- To process boost purchases and show makers how their boosts performed.
- To keep REDONE safe — preventing abuse and enforcing our rules.
- To answer you when you contact support.
We do notsell your personal data, and we don’t share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make REDONE work: Supabase hosts our database, authentication, and file storage; Apple processes boost payments and RevenueCat validates them; Apple and Google handle sign-in if you choose them. Each processes your data only to provide their service to us. Beyond that, we share data only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Delete your account and we delete your data — account details, projects, media, and messages — except for records we’re legally required to keep (like purchase records for accounting).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time — email hello@redoneapp.co from the address you signed up with. If you’re in the EU/EEA, these rights are backed by the GDPR, and you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Deleting your account
Email hello@redoneapp.co from your sign-up address and we’ll delete your account and its data.
Children
REDONE is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will be flagged in the app.
